How ARKOZ handles website enquiries.
This notice explains how ARKOZ SYSTEMS LTD uses the personal information provided through this website, our booking page and direct business communication.
Who is responsible
ARKOZ SYSTEMS LTD, company number 15820047, is the data controller. Registered office: Apartment 76, Skyline, Heelis Street, Barnsley, United Kingdom, S70 1LW. Contact hello@arkoz.co.uk about privacy. This notice covers this ARKOZ website and its website enquiries and optional visitor analytics. It does not replace any separate agreement for an automation project or call-handling service.
Information and purposes
Hosting providers process connection details, including IP addresses, browser information and requests, to deliver and protect the website. If you contact us or book a call, we receive the contact, business and message details you choose to provide. We use them to answer you, arrange the requested conversation and manage the resulting relationship. Providing enquiry details is optional, but we may be unable to respond without a contact address. Do not include sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry. We do not sell personal information, add enquirers to a mailing list automatically, or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects through automated profiling.
Lawful bases
Optional Google Analytics uses your consent. Enquiries and requested bookings are handled to take steps at your request before a contract, where applicable, and for our legitimate interests in answering genuine enquiries and running our work. Our legitimate interests also cover proportionate website security and administration. Legal obligations may require us to retain certain records. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics 4 is off until you choose Accept analytics. Before acceptance, this website does not load the Google Analytics tag, send Analytics events or set Analytics cookies. Rejecting analytics does not affect access to the site. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled. We do not send enquiry contents, names, email addresses, telephone numbers, URL query strings or fragments to Analytics.
After acceptance, Google receives a pseudonymous browser identifier, page paths and titles, referring website origin, browser and device information, approximate location and selected interactions such as booking, email, portfolio or audit-link clicks and scrolling. These help us understand which pages and actions are useful. We do not treat a booking-link click as a completed booking. The Google tag also processes connection information; Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.
We store your choice, timestamp and notice version in your browser under site-analytics-choice-v2 for up to 180 days. This preference storage is necessary to remember your choice. If accepted, _ga and _ga_* cookies distinguish browsers and sessions. Their maximum lifetime is configured as 180 days without automatic renewal; browsers may shorten it. Other necessary security technologies may be used by the hosting provider. This site does not use advertising cookies.
Use Cookie settings at the foot of any page to change or withdraw consent as easily as giving it. Withdrawal stops future Analytics collection, clears accessible Analytics cookies on this site and reloads the page. It does not erase data already received by Google. Contact hello@arkoz.co.uk for a deletion request. Browser settings can also block or clear storage. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page.
Providers and transfers
Cloudflare hosts this website, Google provides Analytics and email, Formspree handles website enquiries, and Cal.com handles bookings. Booking links open Cal.com rather than embedding it, and social links open the relevant separate service. Their own privacy notices apply when you visit them.
Providers may process information outside the UK and European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their published data-processing arrangements describe applicable safeguards, including adequacy frameworks where applicable and standard contractual clauses with UK provisions where needed. Retention and security
Enquiry and booking records are kept while the discussion is active and reviewed for deletion within 12 months after it ends, unless a client relationship, legal obligation or necessary legal claim justifies longer retention. Hosting security records follow the host’s proportionate retention practices. We restrict access to the people and providers who need the information. We use secure connections and proportionate safeguards, although no internet service offers absolute security. Google Analytics is configured to retain identifiable user and event data for two months, without resetting the period when you return. Aggregate reports may remain longer and are not controlled by that setting. Cookie lifetime and Analytics data retention are separate settings.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to legitimate-interest processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact hello@arkoz.co.uk. We normally respond within one month, subject to permitted extensions and identity checks. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local EEA supervisory authority where applicable.
This notice takes effect on 9 October 2026. We will update it when our practices change and ask for fresh analytics consent if its purpose materially changes.
